Panopto provides the ability to add machine-generated captions to your videos. Machine-generated captions are not the same as human transcription, so we recommend that they be reviewed and edited to ensure they are 100% accurate. Locate the desired video
Sign in to Panopto and locate the video you would like to add automatic captions to.
Open the Panopto editor
Click the editor icon on the video to go to the Panopto Editor.
Import the automatically generated captions
Click Captions [1] on the left-hand side of the video.
Click Import captions [2] > Import automatic captions [3].
Publish the video to save the captions to the video
Go to the upper right-hand corner and click Publish to save the updates to the captions.
