Your classes will appear on the Canvas dashboard on the first day of the term. If you do not see your class listed in Canvas there are several possibilities:
Did you register in the last 6 hours?
If you just registered for the class in MySeminoleState, you have not been added to the class in Canvas yet. This process can take up to 5 1/2 hours. For more information see When should I expect to see my class in Canvas after I register?
Check to see if the class is available
Click on the Courses icon in the left navigation bar and click on All Courses.
Add the class to your Dashboard
If you see your class but the star is a blank outline, then click the star to turn it a solid yellow so the class appears on your Dashboard.
Published Status
If you see “No” in the Published column, then your instructor has not yet made the class available. Contact your instructor for information on when the class will be available in Canvas. Some campus classes do not use Canvas.
Future Enrollments
If your class appears under Future Enrollments then the course is not yet released. Classes automatically open on the first day of the term or at the instructor’s discretion. Classes cannot be accessed prior to the start of the term. Class start dates can be found in your Student Center or in the Academic Calendar.
