Dual-enrollment student listed in MySSC but is not in Canvas

Why is a Dual-enrollment student is listed in MySeminoleState but not listed in Canvas?

Body

When a dual-enrollment student is listed on in MySeminoleState roster but not listed on a Canvas roster, it is because they have not yet created their MySeminoleState account. Dual-enrollment students need to create MySeminoleState accounts in order to be added to your Canvas roster.

Please instruct your student to do the following:

  1. Go to https://my.seminolestate.edu/
  2. Under the Login button, click Create New Student Account.
  3. Complete the form on the Create New MySeminoleState Account page.

Within 5 hours the system will automatically add your student to your Canvas site.

 Note: If you go to your grade roster in MySeminolestate and hover over each student's name, then you will see their email address in the lower left-hand corner of your screen. Students who have created their MySeminoleState accounts will display an @live.seminolestate.edu email address; students who have not created their MySeminoleState accounts will display a non-@live.seminolestate.edu email address.
