Setting and Using Flipgrid in a Canvas Course

A faculty or staff member can set up FlipGrid on their own in their Canvas course.

eLearning assistance

The following steps are provided for any faculty or staff member who would like eLearning assistance with setting up Flipgrid in their Canvas course.

Sign up for a FlipGrid account

  1. Go to https://admin.flipgrid.com/
  2. Click Sign-up with Microsoft and use your Seminole State Office365 email credentials.
  3. Go to the integrations section https://admin.flipgrid.com/manage/integrations
  4. Select the Add New Integration button and name your integration (e.g. Spring Course, Section 2).

Send eLearning the following information:

  1. Class number(s) (starts with a 1 for Spring term classes, 4 for Summer term classes, 7 for Fall term classes)
  2. Flipgrid Consumer Key from the Integrations page.
  3. Flipgrid Consumer Secret from the Flipgrid integrations page.

Submit a ticket or email us at elearning@seminolestate.edu 

eLearning adds Flipgrid to your course

eLearning will then add Flipgrid to your course.
