What is LockDown Browser?

LockDown Browser is a custom browser that prevents digital cheating during an online exam.

System Requirements

Lockdown Browser is not compatible with Chromebooks. The college does provide an alternative socially distanced LockDown Browser testing area in one of our computer labs in the V-Building on the Sanford/Lake Mary campus. More information can be found at https://www.seminolestate.edu/cts/lab-reservations/v-109-reserve.

To take the quiz,

  1. Close your current browser (eg.Chrome, Edge, Firefox, or Safari)
  2. Open LockDown Browser.
  3. Sign in to Canvas and go to the quiz.
